The Tu Lan caves system, which lies 70 km away from Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park, is comprised of more than 10 caves which were originally discovered and explored in 1992.
In order to explore Tu Lan caves system, explorers have to trek through remote jungles, buffalo fields and cross rivers to enjoy the quiet and serene atmosphere of beautiful blue lakes, green trees, and small waterfalls. Tours exploring Tu Lan caves began 2014. This caving adventure takes you into remote areas of this unique caving region, home to the most spectacular jungle and caves of Vietnam! You will also learn some caving techniques, and see how to set up jungle camps. Cave photography is an option and the guides will be able to assist you producing top quality images in the caves.
The price of the tour ranges from 2 million VND (about 89 USD) to 7.2 million (about 320 USD).
Apart from Tu Lan caves, En (Swallow) cave will also restart welcoming visitors on December 24 while Va and Son Doong caves will reopen on February 1, 2016.
